POSITION
Associate Director Indirect Procurement, ASEAN
(Location: Philippines, Singapore or one of the ASEAN countries)
SCOPE OF THE ROLE and BASIC PURPOSE
: To develop strategies and provide direction for the procurement of services to all our business sectors in ASEAN
: Through his/her people, develop best value options for our businesses by reducing cost and/or improving quality of service
: Enhance category management responsibilities and activity in ASEAN : develop centers of excellence
: Representing Procurement proactively engage with ASEAN business leaders and support the business needs
: Be an active member of the Asia Pacific C and BS Procurement function. Identify both inter and intra:regional leverage opportunities for procurement
: Drive cross sector/cross country procurement activities in ASEAN to support ONE J and J in South East Asia
ACCOUNTABILITIES and KEY MEASURES
1. Delivery of value enhancement versus goals
2. Delivery of quality services to business stakeholders
3. The shaping of the future organization : a set of strategies to maintain/increase ongoing procurement competitive advantage and flawless execution of strategy
4. Supplier Compliance management in ASEAN
5. Long term cost trend and comparison with benchmarks for key category
6. Specific partnership projects with key suppliers
7. Supply contracts that balance risks and benefits
8. Optimal use of Regional and Global leverage
9. Enhancement of category management principles for cross sector and cross country leverage
10. Drive SRM capability improvement (supplier connectivity and performance metrics) to improve customer service
11. Ensure BCP plans in place for critical suppliers
Qualifications
Qualifications
: Bachelor's degree graduate ideally in engineering or business administration; MBA preferred
: Experience on Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance : leading to good general business knowledge and specific knowledge of procurement
: Must have had previous purchasing experience in orderexpertise in the near term and train subordinates in the longer term
: Strong leadership including code of ethics, communication and presentation, strategy development, negotiation, agreement development, project management, PC:based business software, teaching and mentoring
