As a Sourcing Manager at SAP, you will directly impact the quality of candidate we hire by managing a hub of Sourcers in the Philippines. The sourcing manager will oversee a team that will source and help hire the best quality across the SAP APJ region, including India, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia plus other key territories. Working hours will map to the APJ region.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Manage a team of 15+ sourcers based in Manila. (This is intended to grow rapidly)
- The team will be a mix of full-cycle sourcers, researchers and sourcers who responsible for market mapping and pipelining
- Drive sourcing and negotiations strategies for targeted categories, including identifying cost reduction projects, performing market analysis, recommending short and long term sourcing strategies with defined risk/benefit analysis and work with key stakeholders to define business requirements, needs, and expectations
- Responsible for prioritizing all sourcing support requests globally and allocating them to your team on a weekly basis. Sourcing has committed to supporting a specific number of requisitions per region and you will need to manage customer expectations appropriately, and be prepared to turn down work
- Understand SAP's diversity hiring goals and ensure your team meets them
- Using our CRM tool Avature and our Recruitment Marketing Tool RMK, track the sourcing team's day to day activities (candidates submitted, interviews, hires), understand who is and is not meeting the agreed-upon SLAs, and report up to Talent Acquisition leadership
- Manage all sourcing channels using Avature and RMK tools, and provide intelligence to leadership and your team about which are performing and which are not
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5 - 6 years' experience in sourcing for large, global companies with at least 4 years of management experience
- Proven track record of building and managing large sourcing teams, and managing local and remote teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to succeed in a complex, rapid paced, and challenging environment with an emphasis on becoming more Strategic in its sourcing capabilities
