ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead software engineering activities, including design, planning, development, engineering testing
• Lead a development team comprised of software/database engineers and managers. Mentor employees to identifyand achieve their career goals.
• Focus on high quality, continuous improvement and on time delivery
• Manage and prioritize work for other employees
• Work closely with engineering management and product management to determine feasibility of product featuresand provide alternatives when necessary
• Work with 3rd party vendors on integrating their products
• Keep interest and excitement levels high, inside and outside of the department
• Encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies by all
• Actively lead or participate in resolving key issues that impact the team or the product
• Hire and retain critical talent
RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology orequivalent.Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.7 to 10 years of software engineering experience– preferably with a high-output online companyPrior 3-5 years of engineering management experienceExperience in building high performance, scalable, enterprise class softwareExperience in all phases of product life cycle, preferable as a technical leader and managerWell-versed with writing Flowcharts and UML Diagrams focusing on Use Cases and Sequence Diagrams.Experience in integrating system software from multiple providersExperience with a variety of technologies including (but not limited to) C#.NET, SQL, IOS, Android, Unity, Flash ASTeam management& leadership skills with cross functional technical teamsCustomer focusTeam player
