Credit/Collection Manager
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant credit/collections experience. Preferred candidate must have managed on site and outsource collection activities and have a background in corporate credit/collections, banking, or finance as well as a history of accomplishments in the field from strong negotiation skills with detailed account reconciliation experience .
Our manager will lead, inspire and train a team of internal and external collectors to get measurable results in a fast paced highly professional environment.
To be selected, the successful applicant must demonstrate an aptitude for managing and sustaining relationships. Accounting, contract management, finance, and consulting industry related experience preferred. Management experiences in Cloud Services and Software Licensing a plus.
The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of credit and accounts receivable including:
Adherence to SAP’s corporate financial policies and procedures
Fully support SuccessFactors corporate AR initiatives through:
* Ongoing training and mentoring of internal and external staff and outsource agency personnel
* Establishing adequate staffing requirements
* By establishing individual goals and objectives for collection staff
* Preparing monthly reserve analysis
* Ensuring adequate provisioning for bad debts
* Preparing and reviewing performance results with staff and outsource provider
* Reviewing contact terms and conditions for adherence to SAP corporate guidelines
* Recruiting and hiring reconciliation and collection specialists, supervisors
* The monitoring of outsource provider collection activity – providing guidance and support to ensure goals and objectives are met.
* Timely updates on potential losses and status reports
* Implementing and adjusting collections strategy to ensure goals and objectives are met
* Ensuring there is quality and timely communication with sales, customers, finance group and outsource providers
* Monitoring of the AR performance trends and results
* Management of 3rd party collections and 1st party outsource providers
* Monitoring contracts and payment terms to insure both are in line with corporate DSO objectives
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
* Energetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere deadlines on a timely manner.
* Strong communication skills for negotiation and resolving invoice and contact disputes
* Demonstrated leadership stills
* Must have solid work experience in subscriptions and/or software accounts receivable environments
