The candidate will have the following responsibilities: To manage the Distributor and the Distributor Sales Force assigned in a given area, and ensure delivery of agreed objectives primarily on volume growth, distribution reach, account development through intensive and extensive coverage, all within the principles of the new winning customer policy, code of conduct and HSSE policies.To maintain business profitability and sustain volume growth for both our Client and Distributor.To provide strategic direction and support to the customer-facing Distributor Sales Representatives (DSR) team towards territory mapping, customer prospecting, product potential identification, customer negotiation and personal development.To maintain proficiency in all technical aspects of the involved SKU's and cascade this information to the distributors and their respective DSRs.To conduct monthly business review with the Distributor.Conduct monthly business review with the Distributor.
Candidates must have the following skills:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years working experience in sales, technical or marketing environment. Exposure to the FMCG industry is an advantage.TECHNICALAbove par negotiation skills.Medium IT literacy - competent in using Microsoft Office softwares, JDE.Financial skills - medium level of understanding required to analyze commercial data, budget planning and ensuring optional activity are within defined cost boundaries.Sales and Marketing - Customer Complaints Management, conceptual selling skills. COREPossesses good planning, coordination and implementation towards achieving objective sets.Ability to understand internal and external customer needs.Problem solving - able to identify risks / pitfalls and take appropriate actions; able to develop and employ a variety of approaches to resolve wide-ranging problems.Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical, logical and coherent in approach.Ability to work independently.Team work - Supportive of team members; demonstrates positive approach to building team spirit; adaptable and flexible in approach.Leadership skills: ability to motivate and train the team for a collective winning performance.
