The successful candidate will be responsible to: Maximize the productivity of employees bt setting clear goals, assisting with development of a career path,removing any obstacles that hinder productivity, and maintaining morale of reporting staff.Manage retention and motivation of staff.Manage and write staff reviews in a timely manner.Negotiating and meeting agreed task deadlines set by the BSD Head.Provide detailed weekly reports in the specified format and deliver weekly reports on time.Review resumes and performd interviews and hires for reporting staffs.Taking overall responsibility for hiring decisions within the test department.Meet frequently with reporting staff listening to their concerns and explaining departmental and companyobjectives.Ensure reporting staff perform tasks and responsibilities set-out by their job description.Continuously improve management sil;ls by studying project and people management methodologies.Timely response and satisfactory delivery of requests for information and tasks.Sign off on testing the product at release time and to help determine release criteria as it relates to test.Ensuring Test coverage of software releases is complete and efficient.Managing and structuring the Test department for maximum productivity.Ensuring industry best-practice test techniques and practices are in place.Reseach, analysis and implementation of new industry ideas and tools were deemed appropriate.Providing feedback to Senior IT Managers and Business on test concerns ans Test's position on new initiativesand proposals.Working with the Senior IT Manager to ensure smooth transition of projects and deliverables between the ITdepartments.Coaching and mentoring the Test Leads to create effective leaders and build autonomous test teams.Ensuring sufficient product domain and technical knowledge is maintained within the test department regardlessof employee movements.Report on software quality, quality history and provide suggestions to Development and Program Management onhow to improve software quality.Document test lesson learnt on projects and implement related action plans to improve on them.Suggesting initiatives to create a better IT department. 
Candidates must have the following skills:Software test lead experienceInternational software test experience.Automated testing experience.Management, scheduling and planning experience.Successful delivery of software through at least 3 product cycles as a test lead.Knowledge of the product development cycle.Knowledge of test methodologies and processes.Knowledge of test case design and test planning.Fluent EnglishKnowledge of programming languages (Java or ,Net preferred)Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology orequivalent.Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.Full-Time position(s) available.
