The Project Manager will ensure project results contribute positive business value and meets agreed on scope, cost, schedule and quality business results. Essential Functions Responsibilities Lead and is an advocate for the entire project Communicate appropriately and efficiently to stakeholders, gaining trust and building consensus Help Business Partners and Business Users understand their roles and responsibilities within the project Obtain appropriate stage gate approvals from business and IT stakeholders Ensure team understands the business benefits of the project and connects the project to the broader organizational goals Work with stakeholders to refine the clarity, scope and boundaries of the project being delivered. Plan for resources that are needed in a project. Requests the needed people for a project and gets them oriented to work on the project Develop and execute an overall project schedule, including tasks, duration, dependencies, and resource assignments Control and track changes to scope, time, cost, quality, issues, and risk Ensure the deliverables overall quality is aligned with the projects objective, such as functional specifications, logical and physical data design, solution design and detailed design, test plans, and completed solution Resolve issues in a timely manner. When appropriate, escalate problems and issues to stakeholders and sponsor Evaluate risks, assess possible outcomes and solves problems Manage client relationships according to contract terms and conditions and other vendors contracted parties, as needed Ensure that commercial instruments legalities of the project are in place and responds to terms or conditions not being met. Monitor individual performance, maintain team morale and provides feedback to resource managers Recognize and reward desirable individual and team performance Direct and delegate work effort, while maintaining overall control Plan, develop and bubbleup reusable assets from the project Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management discipline and practice areas Contribute to the business growth of the organization by spotting and chasing after opportunities in the medium term in coordination with the Account Manager. Requirements Formal project management knowledge as well as ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Software Engineering application development and application management life cycle methodologies knowledge Strong written and oral communication skills Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical clients Strong meeting facilitation and negotiation skills Ability to direct the work of others and work in a team environment Strong business judgment and entrepreneurial leadership Strong relationship management skills
