PURPOSE OF POSITION
The IT Manager for Enterprise Business Solutions will be responsible for relationship management, project execution and operational delivery for the technology enablement of J&J's enterprise functions including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Health Care Compliance & Privacy, and Legal; with the focus of this position being Asia Pacific. This individual will manage complex, multi-discipline projects ranging in duration and scope, with some lasting more than a year, involving multiple technologies, and having interdependencies with other projects in these enterprise domains. Responsible for overall project scope, resourcing, and requirements during project(s) life cycle. The IT Manager will be expected to proactively manage conflicts of project quality, timeline, and cost while managing expectations of business partners. Operationally, the IT Manager will be responsible for ongoing support, maintenance, testing, and vendor management etc. including metrics. The IT Manager will be expected to possess an advanced knowledge of relevant business processes, preferably with how they are deployed within J&J. He/she will partner with business stakeholders to maximize business benefit across the enterprise programs. In this role, the person will be responsible for the oversight of all aspects of management systems, productivity tools and infrastructure services across Johnson & Johnson enterprise functions’ shared service sites in Asia Pacific. The candidate requires an in-depth and broad understanding of management systems, productivity tools, infrastructure technologies and business processes, coupled with skills to manage relationships with business stakeholders and across IT.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to project teams
- Understand, align, and help shape the enterprise domains’ roadmap and long term strategy
- Understand and evaluate change requests ensuring that requirements are properly documented and aligned to the strategy
- Partner with Infrastructure Services, Application Services and / or third party vendors to recommend solutions to requirements and facilitate a smooth hand-off of work
- Educate project teams on business processes and business architecture
- Review Statements of Work for completeness and accuracy to ensure maximum value
- Partner with Infrastructure Services, Application Services and / or third party vendors to ensure smooth ongoing operations
- Capitalize on opportunities to improve upon processes, technologies, and working with the business partner to re-engineer business processes to improve customer value
- Based on a strong understanding of the overall business strategies, goals and objectives drive the right level of IT services to be implemented to ensure continuity of the environment while building capabilities to support the future growth of the business.
- Seek leveraging opportunities and make operational decisions that affect cost, quality, and efficiencies, seeking the most cost effective operation of the environment while maintaining appropriate levels of compliance and security.
- Leverage existing solutions and expertise and effectively manage business partners’ expectations, to achieve a balance between meeting business needs and enterprise / sector / global solutions.
- Engage with and influence key business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs and add competitive advantage to our business.
- Build a consistent view of information that will supports business decisions and enables tracking of business performance. Implement strong analytics tools that enhanced decision-making and enable predictive analysis of information.
- Develop strong relationships with supporting teams and vendors, and prioritize vendor work.
- Identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change and where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future service expansion.

- BA/BS degree is required or equivalent 10 years of experience
- 7+ years of relevant IT experience is required, particularly in a shared service environment
- Excellent cross functional skill in multiple technology areas including infrastructure and applications is required
- Strong knowledge of regional environment, culture, vendor landscape is required.
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of business processes
- Previous experience delivering projects utilizing frameworks is preferred and 5+ years of experience capturing business requirements is required
- Must possess strong business partnering skills to influence business decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and functional areas of business partners is required
