Position OverviewProvide people, content, process, and project leadership at the team level to ensure production and work schedules are met. Works across organizational boundaries and shares knowledge/expertise across teams, sites, and business units. Responsibilities
- Drives team publishing goals and deliverables.
- Effectively manage employee performance including ongoing coaching, development and performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoots system and data problems.
- Proactively identifies, analyzes and implements process improvements at the team/function level.
- Responsible for complex problem solving.
- Responsible for complex project management and ensures that projects align with and support organizational goals.
- Tests and implements new systems, processes and approaches.
- Designs and provides training resources for publishing specialists/team members.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with all customers (internal and external).
- May assist leadership with interpretation/dissemination of information.
- Aligns actions and innovative contributions with the strategic direction of the business
- May perform duties such as analyzing, keying, converting, coding, copy reading, editing, writing, loading, merging, or validation of data.
Requirements
- Strong English and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Detail-oriented and focused on providing high quality results.
- Works successfully in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and stay focused while dealing with multiple assignments and tasks.
- Strong learning agility.
- Able to learn quickly and apply knowledge to increasingly complex and changing work.
- Strong project management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong technical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications and web-based applications.
- Advanced Word skills (ability to set up macros), XML coding experience, IBM mainfram Adobe a plus.
- Verify the work of others for accuracy and completeness
- Organizes and facilitates meetings, such as team meetings, task forces, and committees.
- Possesses broad, solid knowledge of business and industry, West products, systems and processes.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree
- Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees
