Finance Supervisor, Country Finance Center : Philippines
The Finance Supervisor role is responsible for managing and overseeing general accounting and reporting processes within CFC PH, as well as treasury and risk processes for all business sectors in thePhilippines.
This role will report to the Associate Finance Director, CFC PH.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Policy and Strategy Development
: Develop GA, Reporting, Treasury and Risk policies and procedures and ensure compliance to World Wide Policies
: Participate in strategic planning for GFS:Asia Pacific as required
General Accounting
: Review and approval of Balance Sheet Reconciliations (BSARs)
: Review and approval of accruals and the corresponding Journal Entries (JE) in accordance with the JE Threshold
: Review and approval of BSAR Matrix and JE matrices
: Review of actual expenses, preparation of reports and discussion with BUF for the Budget vs. Actual (BVA) activity of BUF
: Confirmation of savings on accruals, if any
: Review Pharmaceuticals sector Open PO report for accrual purposes and review and approve corresponding journal entry/ies for accruals
: Check documents submitted for accruals, review and approve corresponding journal entries created by Global Finance Center and 3rd party accounting services provider
Reporting and Analytics
: Tracking of Advertising and Promotions spending per product for Pharmaceuticals sector
: Preparation of consolidated monthly management report and other ad hoc reports for Pharmaceuticals sector
: Review and approval of Lynx reports for Pharmaceuticals sector
: Review of Medical sector Headcount report for submission to the Region
Other Operational Responsibilities
: Support PO Closing for Trade Promotions, Advertising and Promotions of Consumer sector
: Check and initiate reclassification of erratic entries resulting from wrong GL coding in the PO's for Consumer sector
: Conduct trainings and re:trainings on GL coding for PO creators for Consumer sector
: Provide ARIBA support to Consumer users like resolution of IDOC's issues and responding to inquiries
: Oversee, manage and work with Regional Treasury, if needed, funding or treasury requirements of all business sectors
: Oversee, manage and work with Regional Treasury on the dividend remittance of Johnson and Johnson Philippines to Corporate
:Preparation of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reports for Consumer sector
: Manage forecasting of CFC PH budgets and monitoring of actual expenses
Internal and External Representation
: Represent the GA, Reporting and Treasury team for GFS:Asia Pacific and lead change efforts into GFS:Asia Pacific for CFC PH area; work closely together with other CFC managers or supervisors (Revenue, Inventory and Costing, Taxation and Statutory Reporting) to insure best possible communication and interaction between the processes
: Develop, build and maintain relationships with all business sector(s) servicedby CFC PH
Continuous Improvement
: Lead identification of opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovate solutions and system enhancements so the team can operate in an efficient and cost effective manner
: Lead focus on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and costminimization of process
: Proactive involvement in determining and implementing best practices
: Drive implementation of business process improvement initiatives to the team as required
Team Performance
: Ensure team members have the appropriate skills, supporting tools and technologies to enablethem to deliver excellent customer service; provide leadership, coaching, training and guidance as appropriate
: Manage and monitor team performance on a regular basis to ensure that service levels and targets as defined in Service Level Agreements are met; and take corrective action when required
