At SAP you get your chance to putyour ideas into action with maximum impact.The role of the HR Shared Service Head is responsible for managing the Manila HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) team, providing clear direction, strategic thinking and leadership. The HRSSC provides support to the 65,000 employees globally and 30,000 regionally across Americas and Asia Pacific Japan. The Manila HRSSC is one of the two global service centers for SAP, the other one being in Prague. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing all customer service and transaction:focused personnel and the processes they support. Processes supported by the Manila HRSSC team include New Hire Administration, Benefit Administration, Total Rewards Program Administration, Exit Management and Business Compliance Services. The other key focus of this role is to provide HR Services to the wider HR organization and serves as the single point ofcontact for escalations for the team, HR colleagues, and other SAP departments involved in the HR processes. An integral part of the role would be to drive, identify and implement work process improvements/reengineering and systems enhancement so as to streamline and automate processes, and ensure proper tracking and analysis of HR performance and activities. The role will be part of the HR Shared Service Leadership Team and is accountable for promoting and instilling a Global HR Service Delivery Operations model. This role will report directly into the Global Head of HR Shared Service. He/she could have up to 100 employees long term building on the current 50. Teams work in shifts to follow customer working hours
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Service and Operations Management: - Execute HR process work as documented in HR process maps. Use HR tools and systems to appropriately document and complete assigned work. - Keep up to date with developments on regional and country employment legislation and best practice. Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. - Provide accurate and customer service focused advice and service to all customers, such as HR colleagues, other SAP departments, employees, etc. - Work with both internal and external contacts to assist in process completion or escalation, such as Legal, IT and vendors. - Perform regular audits of processes to verify efficiency and effectiveness, identify improvements/enhancements, and drive actions leading to effective measures/changes improving efficiency of HR operations. - Pro:actively communicate and influence process changes across the HRSSC, the wider HR organization, other SAP departments and with vendors. - Custodian of the knowledge library. Ensure all process maps and documentations are updated as appropriate. - Generation and analysis of HR statistics for operational and planning purposes, HR data management and managing HR web:contents. - Ensure effective Risk management and optimizing operations delivery and Compliance, including, compliance with Sarbanes Oxley regulations, overseeing the regular testing process and liaising with the auditors Partnering: - Enables best:practices sharing and fosters cooperation among regions leading to global process alignment. - Supports team members in working with other HRSSC teams, solution centres, CoEs, HRBPs, and other departments including dealing with escalations. Enables optimizing of cooperation among various functional teams within HRSSC organization. - In some cases builds a relationship with appropriate vendors who are involved in the processes the team supports to ensure the most efficient and effective process in place for the steps requiring vendor involvement.
