I. GENERAL INFORMATION
Position Title: Business Manager

II. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Regional Business Lead
Directly Supervises: Senior Product Specialists / Associate Product Specialist / Product Specialist / Territory Representatives
III. RESPONSIBILITY
Part A: Overall Responsibility
The Business Manager is responsible for supervising all operations pertaining to the assigned district, including the development of Senior Product Specialists / Product Specialists / Associate Product Specialists / Territory Representatives, responding to customer and subordinates needs to ensure the achievement of committed goals and objectives of the district.
Part B: Principal Responsibilities
- Develop objectives and sets direction for the district to ensure achievement of sales and market share goals.
- Ensures the effective planning, strategizing and implementation of marketing initiated programs and Territory Action Plans on a monthly and quarterly basis, including coordination with departments concerned.
- Conducts regular coaching sessions with TR/APS/PS/SPS through regular fieldwork and discussions on sales and marketing activities. In doing so he spends 80% of the time in the field to coach, counsel, train, and plan with the TR/APS/PS/SPS.
- Conducts PPE Reviews to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Monitors sales and process performance and the employees overall career development.
- Ensures enforcement of the J&J Business Policy Guidelines, Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association Guidelines, Healthcare Compliance Guidelines and other relevant codes/policies impacting the conduct of business.
- Integrates district activities for a well coordinated implementation of business plans, promotional activities and other prescription generating programs and ensures optimum allocation of resources for the district.
- Conducts random audit of all company assets including promotional materials.
- Conducts screening and interviews in the recruitment and selection of sales personnel (TR/APS/PS/SPS).
- Consolidates and prepare monthly reports including sales estimates, weekly call rates, fieldwork days, expense monitoring per TR/APS/PS/SPS and other pertinent feedback reports.
Reports to Cluster Lead or Regional Business Lead
Qualifications
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a graduate of a 4-year college course from any reputable school, MBA would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years in a people manager position in sales, with proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point) applications.
- Must know how to drive with valid driver's license.
- Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines.
- Demonstrates leadership skills.
