The successful candidate will be responsible to: Handle queries relating to a foreign bank with local subsidiaries; perform tax researches as maybe required tosubstantiate tax advise and recommendations; properly elevate any issues requiring senior officer review ordispositionPrepare tax briefs on new tax regulations, assist the Tax Team in the conduct of tax orientations that may berequired by the HSBC Group entities and assist in the preparation of Tax Manuals.Provide periodic analysis of HSBC Group entities' tax trends, income payments, deferred income tax, effective taxrates, variances and tax cost-benefit analysis and help in finding practical ways how these entities can maximisetax benefitsProvide guidance to the a foreign bank with local subsidiaries on the computation, accounting and reporting oftaxes (e.g. VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, deferred income tax, etc.) 
Candidates must have the following skills:Licensed Electrical or Mechanical EngineerPreferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Business Development or equivalent.At least 5 years experience in Power Project DevelopmentPossesses industry knowledge of the mechanics in Power Project DevelopmentWith established network in Philippine energy sector and its related agenciesA team player who can also work independently and has a solution-oriented mindsetCan easily adapt in a multinational environmentMale or Female, not more than 45 years old
