The type of work includes Handrails Balustrade Architectural screens Perforated metal products Feature architectural productsSteel structures Sunscreens Gates and similar itemsRoles and Responsibilities Provide detailed trade take offs from architectural and structural drawings Provide full detailed estimations including labour and materials Provide detailed reports of labour and material required for each job Prepare job budgets after jobs are won Setup job cost codes after jobs are won Setup basic construction programme including projected cash flow for jobs Review, assessment and costing of contract variations Use StruMIS project management software for estimation and budgets. Computer skills Microsoft excel, word, outlook and project and preferably StruMISSkill Set Minimum of 10 years experience in architectural metalwork or similar estimating role in construction industry Minimum Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar Proven record of providing accurate and detail estimates Ability to provide detailed quantity takeoffs for trade work Ability to provide detailed reports for General Managers review prior to tender submission Minimum of 3 references from former employers Willing to work full time 8 hours a day US Time Amenable to start immediately
